July Blog Post –Twenty Six Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

Chasing babies and chickens and
living our dreams out these days
out on the land!
Hearts truly overflowing with gratitude
in this season of life
and just soaking in all things
sweet summertime around here –
aka the very best time of the year!!
God has been so good to our family
and we couldn’t’ be more grateful to have found our forever farm
and get to raise our babies
the way we always dreamed
and prayed for!!
What a gift from above and dream come true it all is!!
I loved getting to write another one of my “monthly blog posts” over on the EMC blog
(aka my online scrapbook hehe) with all the joy and goodness sweet July has held so far!!
This month (this past Wednesday marked 26 months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett hehe) has been full of so many wonderful memories as
my high school bestie (and her toddler and new baby!!) came up to visit us here on the farm, lots of time out on the farm (and littles getting to ride on the big lawnmower with Dada!),
picked our first bouquet of homegrown sunflowers, backyard baseball,
playground playtime, Wes building the boys’ the coolest swingset out overlooking the pastures,
lots of trips
to the pool,
many wonderful
and abundant farm
garden harvests,
our annual Fourth of July beach week trip down to the beachhouse
full of all the cousin lovin’ and fireworks
(such a fun fun week!),
all the homegrown zinnia bouquets
to pick
and fill the farmhouse with,
the most beautiful
crepe myrtle trees
in bloom
all around the property,
cozy summer rainy days,
icecream shop trips,
the “Chickfila Cow Appreciation Day” night
(so fun getting all dressed up and making our costumes!),
making a cozy new “forest play area” for the boys
behind the guest house,
putting in our new farmhouse
sandbox,
sweet days
around the farm,
putting up new living room and kitchen curtains,
and fun at
Vacation Bible School all this week!!
What a sweet
and special season of life this is
with our little ones
at the most precious ages
and we have been soaking in such a
fun summer around here –
our very first one out on the farm!!
