May Blog Post –Two Whole Years of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!

Our Sweet Baby Levi Rhett is officially  T W O  years old

and we couldn’t be more smitten

with his happy-go-lucky,

adorable, precious little self!!

Happy happy birthday,

our little angel baby boy –

oh how we all love you so!!

What a dream come true it has been

moving out to our

forever farm sweet farm

this year

and you have been absolutely thriving (!!)

getting to live your best little

country baby boy life

exploring the land and outside all the time!

You have been a gift from God since the day we found out about you

and the perfect addition to our family!

You love life, love to play outside, play with balls (of any kind!), and love your puppy dog Red and chickadees out here on the farm!!

Your big brother Judson is your best friend in the whole world

and you absolutely adore him

(and he adores you)!

I know you two are in heaven these days exploring our 12+ acres

and just living the sweet and simple country childhood I always dreamed of giving you two!!

You are talking so much these days, tough as nails (and so strong always trying to keep up with your big brother!),

and just the absolute cutest little thing

toddling and bee-bopping around everywhere you go!!

Being your mom is the greatest gift in the world and I am so thankful for the gift of breastfeeding you so long, too!!

You are a mama’s boy through and through (and won’t let me out of your sight hehe)

and just the snuggliest, cuddliest,

little bundle of love

and I just want to eat you up!! Somehow,

you just keep on getting cuter and cuter everyday and we just can’t get enough of you, sweet baby boy!!

We loved getting to celebrate your birthday

down in the most magical place on earth

earlier this week

and to celebrate even more

this Memorial Day Weekend ahead down at the beach!!

We thank Jesus every day for you, Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!!

You are a pure and precious gift from above of love and joy… and we truly can’t imagine our lives without you now!!

All the joy celebrating two whole years of your sweet little life and all the goodness in store ahead – you are loved and cherished more than you will ever now…

by your family, and most importantly, by your dear Heavenly Father!

my baby!!!

This month was full of so much joy as we had all kinds of sweet and exciting things going on –

we found the perfect backyard patio table on facebook marketplace,

picked lots and lots of peonies here on the farm

(it is covered in thriving peony bushes

and was so special for our very first spring on the farm!),

went on lots of walks picking wildflowers,

decorated the farmhouse for an “American Honey” summer (my favorite time of year!), have enjoyed the dreamiest morning front porch views,

made the most stunning peony bouquets,

finally got some more rain showers (April showers bring may flowers!),

explored all over our 12 acres, have loved watching our garden take off,

decorated the upstairs playroom nook (and it looks so good y’all!),

spent a whole weekend back home in Charlotte, NC

for my baby sister’s wedding (and thank goodness for my in-laws who came up and watched the boys for us all weekend long!) – such a beautiful perfect wedding,

made the cutest

mother’s day handprint craft gifts,

celebrated Cinco de Mayo at our favorite local Mexican restaurant,

took trips to our favorite local walking trail and park by us,

the boys always love riding the lawnmower with “Dada,” all the front porch sweetness,

Wes bought me fruit trees and berry bushes for my Mother’s Day gift

and we got to spend Mother’s Day Weekend planting them all in the ground (best gift ever!),

we got our black-and-white heirloom photos back for the boys

(and they couldn’t have turned out more perfect!),

God was really showing off with the Mother’s Day Eve sunset

over the farm,

had the sweetest Mother's Day with my boys,

got to see Wes' sweet parents (and grandparents!) on Mother's Day evening,

my parents came up to celebrate my Dad’s birthday

as well as come to one of Judson’s tball games,

we have had fun tending to and watering our new little orchard garden every day,

we planted lavender plants all around the coop (they smell amazing!),

headed down to Augusta, GA for a beautiful god-centered family wedding

(and the boys loved getting to hang out

in the hotel with my parents!),

then made a quick visit to St. Augustine, FL to see

Wes’ brother Trey and his precious family,

then we finally made it

to our resort at Disney World (loved exploring all around

and taking the kids to the awesome splash pad that night, too!),

got all dressed in our mickey jammies the “night before magic kingdom,”

had the most MAGICAL

full day at Disney world

from start to finish,

the boys loved meeting their favorite characters (Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse most of all!),

and back home to the farm this past week

for all of our favorite things –

long morning walks,

chasing our chickens around the yard,

mornings and evenings out in the garden,

and closing out a wonderful tball season

this year with daddy as the coach!!

Hearts truly overflowing with gratitude in this season of life

and just soaking it all in

as we head into my most favorite time of year ahead –sweet sweet summertime!!

God has been so good to our family and

we couldn’t’ be more grateful to have found our forever farm

and get to raise our babies the way

we always dreamed and prayed for!!

What a gift from above it all is!!
