December Blog Post –Nineteen Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

Sweet Baby Levi Rhett, you truly are joy upon joy and it is just the sweetest little Christmas blessing

getting to experience all of the magic this time of year through your little eyes!!

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the nineteen most joyous months with you here in our lives!! You light up the room

with your precious little smile and grin these days and your giggle makes everyone’s day!

You have us all completely smitten with you

and we are having the sweetest Christmas yet

with you and your big brother bestie Judson

at the absolute most precious little ages!!

Happy 19 months, my sweet angel baby boy –

oh how we love and adore you so!!

We are loving every bit of this season of life with you and watching you take it all in –

the Christmas tree lights, the decorations all around town, and your love for all of the holiday music, too!

You are the cuddliest little love and still love to nurse and snuggle with mama and I am soaking it allllll in these days –

such a sweet blessing this season of breastfeeding is (and that I’m getting to breastfeed you so long, just like I was blessed to do with Judson)!

It continues to be such a sweet gift from God that He blessed me with two boys back-to-back first

and watching their little #brotherbesties bond grow more and more every day warms my heart more than anything in the whole world!

I am so grateful that they will have a best friend in one another for all of their days –

and it sure is nice that they have a sweet little playmate these days, too!!

I love getting to raise these little country cowboys with my best friend and our hearts are overflowing with joy and excitement for what the Lord has in store ahead for our farm sweet farm… He truly does write the very best stories of all!!

You are saying new words every day and just as happy and cute as can be!! You love playing with your bubba, “Dada,” and Red-man (your puppy dog!) and I love seeing you explore everywhere we go and try to talk to me about whatever you see – your whittle voice is the cutest ever!!

I feel like you are at the “puppy stage” and it really is the cutest of all watching you toddle

and bee-bop all around and we are just soaking it all in!

You are one thousand percent my little #velcrobaby and mama’s boy (and I don’t mind it one bit hehe) and still love to be worn, carried, and held…

but also alllll boy and wanting to climb up on and explore everything these days!!

Rough and tough but also so obsessed with mama… the best of both worlds!!

This past month, we loved decorating and “rockin around” the Christmas tree,

celebrating Thanksgiving season

with all the cute turkey crafts and baking,

enjoyed Thanksgiving Day visiting with both sides of our families,

stayed in Charlotte with my family for Thanksgiving Break

and loved all of the cousin time

and memories we got to make there,

welcomed in December with our annual Santa Visit

at the Tryon Equestrian Center,

started a new Jesse Tree Ornament tradition (after the sweetest company sent one to us),

got our Christmas cards packed and shipped out,

had Sweet Baby Levi Rhett’ s 18-month wellness visit (praise the Lord for our perfectly healthy baby boy!!),

loved snuggles by the Christmas tree,

made homemade paper chains,

had our annual Polar Express Movie Night,

got all of our Christmas wrapping done,

took our annual trip to the Grove Park Inn to see Santa’s sleigh as well as the beautiful gingerbread houses there,

enjoyed lots of homeschool preschool fun and crafting,

baked homemade Christmas cookies

to share and deliver with lots of loved ones,

had our last Community Bible Study day of the year and did lots of holiday deliveries around town,

made the cutest handprint wreath craft

as keepsakes and gifts for grandparents,

decorated our annual gingerbread house (Judson was so into it this year and it was a ball!),

went to the annual Biltmore Forest Country Club Santa’s Brunch with my parents (one of my favorite traditions since I was a little girl!),

have loved cozy mornings in our Christmas jammies,

took our annual trip to admire all of the pretty lights

at the Christmas House,

took an evening stroll around our hallmark town (the lights are so magical this time of year!), and have had such a sweet last weekend before Christmas spending time with my parents,

my dear Uncle Edgar, and Wes’ parents!

I love this time of year and all of the family time so much!!

We are just overflowing with gratitude for this precious sacred season of life with our babies both so little and so excited to continue making all kinds of family memories with Christmas in just a few days!!

Full hands and even fuller hearts these days and so excited for what the Lord has in store ahead for our family and farm sweet farm!!

These truly are the days, y’all!!
