Still can’t believe that we are finally here

on the farm

and “farmhouse on the hill”

we always dreamed of,

raising these sweet little country babes

(and lots of chickens hehe)

out on the land!!

Our hearts are so full and

we are just so grateful to the Lord

for all of His many many blessings and the gift from above it all is.

As always, I loved getting to write another one of my little “monthly blog posts”

over on the EMC Blog (aka my online scrapbook these days hehe)

with all the sweetness and joy this dreamy month of August has held so far!!

This month

(this past Saturday actually

marked 27 months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!) has been filled

with all kinds of special late summertime memories

as we completely transformed our farmhouse kitchen, dining, and living room area

(shoutout to fb marketplace and all the fun thrifted finds – the best!),

painted the front door (& pantry door!) the sweetest baby blue and kitchen cabinets

(my dream blue and white farmhouse dream

came to life y’all!!),

finally found our dream back porch outdoor sofa set (and love it) -

once again, thanks to fb marketplace,

did lots of harvesting out in the country garden,

picked alllll the farm fresh homegrown flowers (the best time of year is a house full of blooms!),

all the playdates with sweet friends,

late summer pool days with my babies, our weekly trips to the library

and coffee shop,

daily backyard play,

hung a new flag up on the flagpole overlooking the pastures,

saw our first

double (!!) rainbow over the farm,

won the sweetest giveaway at our local Chickfila (so cool!),

are loving our super colorful eggs from the chickens,

have been admiring all of the “deer deer” running out in the pastures,

went on the most fun beach weekend down to the North Myrtle Beach condo

(memories we will cherish forever of playing by the sea,

by the pool and lazy river,

going out for icecream,

and so much more!!),

the official start back to tball practice for the fall season

(with “Daddy Coach” back head coaching – woohoo!),

all the lawnmower rides with “Dada,”

dreamy front porch morning coffee views,

popsicles in the pastures,

taking the boys to see the Paw Patrol Movie,

adding a new gate from the backyard to the back pastures,

picking all the wildflowers for mama (be still my heart!),

sweet homeschool preschool mornings,

joining the MomCo group at church,

and so much more!!

What a sweet and special season of life this is

with our little ones at the most adorable little ages

and we have been soaking in

every last bit of summer around here

and also getting oh so excited for the new school year coming up

(we always start “officially back” after our Labor Day Weekend beach trip!)

and all things fall - our very first one out on the farm… eek!! -

and autumn coziness ahead!!
