February Blog Post - Twenty One Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

Goodness gracious we couldn’t love this sweet precious

chicken-loving,

happy-go-lucky,

wildflower picking “for mama” country baby boy more if we tried!!

Oh Sweet Baby Levi Rhett,

you sure do have us all wrapped

around your finger!!

We are just so grateful for the twenty-one most joyful months with you here in our family

and such a gift now getting to raise you and your big brother Judson out on our dream farm sweet farm!

Every good and perfect gift is from above,

and you sure are one of them!!!

You are the sweetest, giggliest, cuddliest, and silly little country baby boy

and we couldn’t be more smitten with you!

Happy 21 months, my angel baby boy!!

It truly has been such a dream come true getting to finally move our family out to the farm sweet farm

we’ve been dreaming of and praying for for as long as I can remember…

and such a gift beyond words getting to make so many memories out here on the land

where we are planting our family roots!!

Immeasurably more than we could’ve asked, dreamed, or imagined…

and a story only God could write!!

We even had our very first SNOW on the farm (exactly one month after we moved here)

and it made for the most special memories!!

We have been spending our days

exploring the farm, playing with our chickens, hanging out with sweet friends,

and just soaking this sweet season of life up!!

You are saying SO many words these days (it’s so stinking cute y’all!),

playing with your brother all the time (you are obsessed with each other and truly inseparable - #brotherbesties for life!),

still love to be worn in mama’s baby carrier when you’re sleepy and want to just snuggle, LOVE to read books (“Boooooook”), are into everything and always exploring these days, love your puppy dog Red and “chick chicks” more than anything, and always (!!) want to be outside (just like your bubba)!!

I love this stage so much and can’t get enough of your adorable little self!  

We couldn’t be more grateful for this season of life and all that the Lord has blessed us with!

We can’t wait to watch our little pair of #brotherbesties truly get to grow up

on these 12.5 acres of farmland and have the sweetest country childhood we always dreamed of giving our babies –

such an answered prayer and immeasurably more than we could’ve asked for!!

This past month, we have enjoyed lots of playdates at the park,

cozying up and lighting our fireplace for the first time,

waking up to our farm covered in a blanket of white

for our very first snow on the farm, made SO many sweet ice day memories,

did lots of sledding

down the driveway,

enjoyed so many gorgeous sunrise and sunsets over the land,

scored the best facebook marketplace find ever in

the cutest kitchen slash grocery store for the playroom,

have seen so many beautiful deer running over the pastures,

woke up to another (!!) gorgeous powdery snow day on the farm,

did lots of sledding down the snowy pastures,

loved admiring our farmhouse on the hill covered in a blanket of white,

did lots of homeschool preschool fun, loved doing valentines crafts

and sensory bins with my little ones,

went on daily walks around the farm and surrounding dirt roads,

did our annual “valentines kissie photos” and they were so stinking adorable,

went on a “coffee and cake pops” date with my babies,

had our very first backyard bonfire here on the farm and even roasted s’mores,

all the valentines week cuteness,

went on our annual valentines weekend getaway down by the sea,

had the cutest valentines morning with the boys’ “love baskets,”

Wes and I even got to go on a valentines date night

thanks to my parents who were down at the beach with us,

went to the cutest valentines exchange party

with friends this past week

(the boys had an absolute blast!),

spent sunset hour out on the farm every night when “Dada” got home from work,

Daddy came home from work with even more chickens to welcome to the farm,

and have been absolutely SOAKING up this beyond gorgeous sunny and 75 degree weather we’ve had this past week…

what a dream and makes us so giddy

and excited for our very first spring and summer here on the farm!!
