September Blog Post – Twenty Eight Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett
Oh, what a sweet sweet season of life we are living in!
Sweet Baby Levi Rhett, you truly are the apple of our eye!
And so special that,
as of a couple days ago, you have been with us for twenty eight whole months –
what a gift from above you are!!
I am LOVING this adorable age and stage with you –
your vocabulary has absolutely exploded (!!),
you are sweet and happy as can be, and talking and playing non-stop!!
And my most favorite part of all about this stage is how well you and your big brother play together –
it truly warms my heart to watch y’all’s little bond grow and grow!
You join right on in with Judson whenever we are doing homeschool preschool work (you loveeee playdough and sensory bin play particularly!) and already can count to 15 and say your ABCs all on your own!!
There really is something so special about those “second sons” as I call you… you were born with the most determined little spirit wanting to keep up with your brother –
and can’t waittttt for your turn to be out on the ballfield with brother in the future!!
And yet, so stinkin’ precious, sweet, and snuggly –
my forever cuddle bug baby boy!!
This month has been filled
with all kinds of sweet memories
as we closed out summer
and welcomed in the start to all things fall
out here on the farm –
starting with our annual family trip to the apple orchard (so much fun!),
collecting (& sharing) allllll the beautiful rainbow farm fresh eggs from our girlies,
baking a yummy apple pie with our freshly picked apples, all the homeschool preschool fun and activities,
setting up our play tent in the living room (the boys have loved it!),
going "fishing" down by the pond,
having a backyard bonfire night making s’mores,
picking alllll the fresh homegrown flowers
to fill the farmhouse with, spending labor day weekend down at the family beachhouse,
seeing the most beautiful double rainbow over the marsh,
taking a boatride on the intracoastal waterway,
having our official first day of homeschool preschool
(so special having our very own homeschool preschool room this year!),
decorated the farmhouse and porch for fall (yay for pumpkins and mums!),
whipped out the pumpkin footie pajamas,
planted our fall garden,
hosted sweet new friends over to the farm,
had Judson’s very first game of the fall tball season,
daddy surprised mama with roses after work one night (what a guy!!),
have lots and lots of fresh homegrown raspberries and blackberries to pick,
got haircuts
at the barber shop,
went down to Florida
to become godparents to Baby Margot
and visit family,
saw the most stunning deer view the other morning on the farm,
welcomed in the first day of fall with a mountain trail walk,
watched Judson have a big (!!) hit out on the ballfield,
and so much more!!
We are just loving our boys’ precious little ages right now
and soaking it all UP!!!
We are loving welcoming in
all things fall
and excited for all of our fun traditions
(and cozy vibes!!) ahead!!
These truly are the days!!

I have been so grateful for your constant love and support of this sweet small business of mine over all these years!
I can never thank you enough and I will never stop thanking the Lord for the sweet blessing this business has been for our family -
especially now that we have another sweet baby boy here for all the fun!!
