September Blog Post – Sixteen Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

Happy Official First Day of Fall from the apple of our eye…

our Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!!

This mama sure is smitten with you, sweet baby boy!

Every day just keeps on getting sweeter and sweeter with you

and we couldn’t be more blessed or grateful

for the sixteen most joyful months with you as part of our family!

You are walking

(wanting to keep up with big “bubba” Judson 24/7), talking (saying so many new words these days!),

exclusively nursing (going on 16 months and still loving it),

and just as sweet, snuggly, and cuddly as can be (and as you can see in this pic, loveee to be worn in the carrier) –

which mama loves hehe!!

This is the most precious toddling baby age and you somehow just keep on getting cuter and cuter…

and we are soaking it alllll up!!

You truly are sweet to the core (hehe get the #applepicking pun!), Sweet Baby Levi Rhett… and your mama, dada, and big brothers Judson and Red (puppy bestie) can’t get enough of you!!

This stage is extra adorable because you are still oh so tiny, yet you are walking and exploring everything around you these days and it is such a joy experiencing it all through your precious little eyes!!

This is your first fall walking, and these next few months will be so fun watching you experience all of the magic of both autumn and the holiday months ahead…

I just can’t wait!!

This past month, we went to the apple orchard

(twice actually –

once to SkyTop with our family,

and once with my little sis MJ and her fiancé),

had your 15-month-old wellness check-up

(praise the Lord for a perfect report),

took our annual Labor Day Weekend

beach trip

(so much fun!),

started “homeschool preschool” with Judson

(and you love tagging along!),

received lots of goodies in the mail from the sweetest Christian publishing company as we started our new school year,

decorated our home sweet home for fall

(bring on all the mums and pumpkins!),

planted our fall garden,

went on lots of nature walks and runs,

met my cousin Maggie’s new puppy,

went on our annual visit to the Nix Pumpkin Patch

(such a fun day!),

“Dada” built you and your brother a sand box by the garden

(and the sweetest company sent us a bulldozer and dump truck set for y’all – so sweet!),

have done lots of fall crafting

and sensory bins, read all the harvest season books and read alouds,

had a

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” movie night,

and took a trip out to our 15 acre farm to put deer corn (one of our family’s favorite traditions this time of year)!

We are so grateful for this wonderful season of life

as we soak in the sweetness of our babies both so little and also getting so giddy and excited for all that the Lord has in store ahead out on our 15 acre farm sweet farm – such a dream come true!

Full hands with littles and full hearts of gratitude as we chase after and build our dreams from the ground up – Thank you, Lord!!

I can never thank you enough and I will never stop thanking the Lord for the sweet blessing this business has been for our family in this season - especially now that we have another sweet baby here for all the fun!!
