May Blog Post – Twelve Months (One Whole Year!) of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

Where to even begin… thank you, Jesus, for the sweetest 12 months (as of tomorrow!) of my entire life with our newest little ray of SONshine, Sweet Baby Levi Rhett, here in our arms!!

Happy happy “birthday eve,” my precious little baby!! One whole year around the sun and, hands-down, the most joyful days of my life yet… and it just keeps on getting better and better with your sweet as honey little bundle of joy self!! You have been the absolute most precious gift from above and blessing to our lives in more ways than I could ever begin to describe and we truly cannot imagine our family without you now!

You are loved and adored beyond measure and our days just keep on getting sweeter and sweeter as we watch your precious little bond with your “big bubba” Judson grow and we love watching you explore and take in the world all around you with your big, beautiful, bright blue eyes!! What a blessing of light and pure love you are, Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!!

You loveee your mama (I love my mama’s boys hehe), love to snuggle (my little cuddle bug!), love to nurse (been exclusively breastfeeding for one whole year now… and still going strong – what a sweet gift!!), and are crawling and pulling up on everything these days to try and keep up with “bubba” and your puppy bestie Red (who you are absolutely obsessed with)! You have been the sweetest tag-along “baseball baby” all season long watching your brother Judson out on the ballfield and it has been the cutest thing!! We sure are excited to experience such a fun summer ahead with you at such a fun tiny little age (and another summer of sweet whittle baby feet hehe!) – since last year you were just a newborn… this year will be full of all things water, sunshine, and playing outside all day long and I absolutely cannot wait!! We are getting oh so giddy for what’s to come ahead out on our 15 acre farm sweet farm and excited to make lots of memories out there this summer ahead with you, too! I sure do love this season of raising babies and building dreams – my very favorite yet!!

This month has been filled with so many sweet memories – from our last few weeks of our wonderful little local bible study group, to lots of late spring cozy rainy days, to getting professional birthday photos done at a cutie studio, to your very first time in the baby swing, to you and bubba’s first time riding together in the double jogger (mama’s started back running again and it’s been the best!), to going strawberry picking, to welcoming in “red white and blue” season with lots of baseball games and getting out Memorial Day decor, to seeing turtles and frogs on our morning runs, to taking you and bubba to your very first rodeo, to celebrating your very first Mother’s Day (hands-down my sweetest yet… this year as a mama of two!), to planting lots of flowers in the yard and tending to our garden (that is thriving this year!), and prepping for and celebrating you and bubba’s May birthdays with the most FUN joint rode party this past weekend – such a dream come true!! I sure do love my two little MAYbry cowboys hehe!

This has been such a JOY-filled month and are hearts are overflowing with gratitude for this sweet little country life the Lord has blessed us with! Full hands and even fuller hearts these days and we truly can’t imagine our lives without you now, Sweet Baby Levi Rhett!! Happy happy “birthday eve,” my baby boy!!

Happy happy birthday, my Sweet Baby Levi Rhett… my sunshine, my JOY baby, and the absolute sweetest little addition to our family!! You light up the room with your bright blue eyes, dimple smile, rosy cheeks, and pure preciousness… and are truly just a ray of sunshine!! These precious “cake smash” photos we had done the other week make me smile SO big and capture your adorable little personality so perfectly… and I will absolutely cherish them forever!!

This time last year, we were soooo ready and excited to meet you… and goodness, you have been even sweeter than we could’ve ever dreamed or imagined! Thank you, Jesus, for your precious little life!! You have been the easiest most precious little cuddly baby since the moment you were born and they laid you on my chest… and I knew then and there that you were a gift sent straight from heaven!

This year has been so special watching Judson become (and thrive!) as a “big bubba” and you absolutely love and adore him… always looking up at him with smiles and giggles!

And with you being my second (!!) baby, I realize just how tiny one year old really is… and can’t wait to make even more precious memories with you this year ahead, my sweet baby, and to watch you two’s little best friend relationship grow more and more!!

I have loved having you as my sweetest little snuggly “koala bear” in my baby carrier all year long and making so many special memories this year as a new family of four… and we can’t wait for all that’s yet to come!! A full year of nursing and cuddles and baby lovin’ and just the sweetest days of my life yet… and somehow it just keeps on getting better and more and more fun! I love how much you love to cuddle and snuggle with mama and I could stare at your precious little angelic face all day long (and often do hehe)! You are loved, cherished, and adored more than you will ever know and have brought us joy upon joy upon joy this past year… and every day just keeps on getting sweeter!! We cannot remember life without you now and are so thankful you made us a family of four!

And eek we sure are excited to head out of town tomorrow to celebrate even more down at the beach ahead for Memorial Day Weekend!! I sure do love raising little beach babies around here… these truly are the days!! We love celebrating you, our adorable and sweet as sugar little birthday baby boy!!! You are loved beyond measure – today and every day!!

One of our very favorite birthday traditions is always reading “The Night You Were Born” - the same little book I took to the hospital to put their handprints/footprints in and had the wonderful labor and delivery nurses & doctor sign the night each of them were born!!!
