October Blog Post – Seventeen Months of Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

There’s just nothing cuter than

a baby in a pumpkin, y’all!!

We all sure are absolutely SMITTEN with you, Sweet Baby Levi Rhett

and oh so very grateful for the seventeen most joyful months with you!!

You are pure preciousness

and just a bundle of sugar and love…

and goodness gracious we couldn’t love you more, our sweet little baby pumpkin!!

You are having the most fun this fall season at this adorable little age

and making so many special memories

with all of our harvest season adventures and traditions!!

You absolutely adore your big brother Judson

(and puppy brother, Red)

and want to do whatever he is doing at all times –

and it truly is so special seeing the #brotherbesties God gave y’all in one another…. what a precious GIFT!

You are walking (basically running haha), talking (saying so many words these days and my personal favorite is your recent favorite word – “Bible” – be still my heart!)

and exploring everything around you

and it makes me so excited for you to experience the holiday season this year at the most magical little toddling baby age!!

You have been exclusively nursing for 17 months (such a gift to feed my babies the way the Lord so beautifully designed)

and just as sweet,

snuggly

(you love to be held and worn in mama’s baby carrier – which I adore!!),

and cuddly as can be – and such a precious mama’s boy!!

We are truly just soaking up this adorable toddling baby age and thank Jesus every day for you precious little life!!

This past month, we have done all kinds of fall crafts and “homeschool preschool” activities

with your big brother

(like leaf collecting, leaf rubbings, handprint crafts, and more!),

soaked in all the sweet baby snuggles,

gone to storytime at the library (so fun!),

went on our annual trip to the Shelby Corn Maze

(the boys both LOVED it this year!),

watched bubba go down the giant slide at the farm (so brave!!),

went on lots and lots of walks to admire the changing autumn leaves,

tried on your adorable “little bear” costumes for Halloween (eek… so excited!!),

did some pumpkin painting on the back deck,

took our annual trip to Strawberry Hill

for some fall farm fun,

enjoyed our different homeschool preschool units (all things autumn, sky, pets, and more!!),

admired the October Harvest Moon

(SO cool that it lined up perfectly with our “sky” unit that week),

have loved our weekly CBS Bible Study group,

took at trip to the most gorgeous sunflower field

(my actual dream come true!!),

took a trip to the local pet store with friends,

made our very own “pumpkin vase”

for our homegrown zinnias

(and it turned out so cute!),

carved our pumpkins

(little bear themed

ofcourse hehe),

put Sweet Baby Levi Rhett in a pumpkin (#cutenessoverload !!),

took a trip over to Cherry Mountain Farm,

went on the most gorgeous Sunday drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway (highly recommend – the changing leaves were absolutely breathtaking!!),

and just been soaking in these sweet fall days!!   

 We are just so grateful for this joyful

and special season of life with our babies both so little

and making so many precious fall family memories!!

And we are getting so excited for all that the Lord has in store ahead out on our 15 acre farm sweet farm, too – such a dream come true!

Full hands with our sweet little pumpkins and full hearts of gratitude

as we chase after and build our dreams from the ground up –

Thank you, Lord!!

These truly truly are the days, y’all!!
