Oh happy DAY… Sweet Baby Mabry #2 is on the WAY and coming in MAY!!!

We could not be more grateful for this precious gift and promise from God,
and absolutely can’t wait for our sweet little Judson to be the best BIG BROTHER come May 2024 (God loves to give us May babies hehe)!!
Between closing on our farm sweet farm and now a brand new BABY to welcome to our growing family,
it has been quite the “harvest season” and we are completely overwhelmed by this abundance of good good gifts from God - all glory to HIM!!

September 9, 2023 - The day we found out about YOU, Sweet Baby Mabry number TWO!!
This was the absolute sweetest moment of my life and one I will cherish forever and ever!! My heart was immediately so much bigger knowing that we were going to have another little baby to love, and that Judson was going to be a big brother (or a “bubba,” according to his words)!! I was so stinking excited (& shocked/surprised) to share the news with Wes and Judson that a simple “pee stick” is just how it went down with baby #2 lol!!!

Just pure genuine, raw, “in the moment” joy upon joy!! My personal favorite parts of the video are when Judson immediately ran off with the “pee stick” to tell his “chick chicks” and when he says that the baby is “up mama’s belly” haha!! But really, we could not be more grateful to have another Mabry miracle in the making… Thank you, Jesus - you truly give the very best gifts to your children!!! #giftfromgod #miracleinthemaking
What a JOY it’s been getting to celebrate Mabry Party of FOUR (five including sweet Red hehe) coming May 2024!!
We have had so much fun finding out about and getting to share the news about YOU, Sweet Baby Mabry Number TWO! Here’s some special pictures and videos (Click here to see the videos on my post!) from the last couple months - the most precious keepsake ornament from Little Abner Co. (can’t wait to hang it on our tree this year - next to our other ornament from sweet Emma!), telling Wes and Judson (the pure shock and joy in that video is just so special), getting to surprise our parents (yes, once again, with a simple “pee stick” lol - very spur of the moment joy!),
telling our siblings and friends (ps… most weren’t pictured this time around because, well, it’s baby #2 anddd we were just too stinking excited to document it - but you know who you are hehe),
some bump photos over this first trimester (they aren’t kidding about baby #2 popping early - it’s been very hard to hide!!),
ultrasound pics from back at our first appt, sweet Wes bringing me chicken noodle soup and saltine crackers in bed (he’s been a saint to this nauseous pregnant mama this whole first trimester), Judson always resting and putting his hand on mama’s belly (be still my heart!!), and just so much happiness, joy, and thanksgiving to God while soaking in our special secret!!

These are memories I will cherish forever and ever, and my heart is just so overflowing with gratitude that I get to have a new sweet little life growing inside of me as we enter the most wonderful time of the year!! And that Judson is going to have the best Christmas gift of all - a baby sibling on the way!! I am full of awe, wonder, and joy! Truly, God is just so good!!

It was such a sweet last “Fall Friday” before Halloween spent carving pumpkins (Mickey Mouse & Cowboy - per Judson’s request hehe - no surprise there!) on the front porch with our little pumpkin!!

Happy “Halloween Eve” from our little pumpkin!!
Over the weekend, we carved our pumpkins
and then went to visit my parents back home in Charlotte!
Judson dressed up in his adorable cowboy costume
and a sweet neighbor saw us and asked Judson if he wanted to come “trick or treat” -
it was the sweetest thing!!
His very first time “actually” trick or treating
and my heart was a puddle!!
And it was such a joy getting to celebrate my bestie Kristen
at her shower back in Charlotte and her sweet baby boy on the way, too!!
Lots of special memories were made over “Halloweekend,”
and we are grateful for such sweet time with loved ones!!

We had the very best time trick-or-treating
in this adorable little storybook small town of ours
and handing out candy at my dear Uncle Edgar’s house right downtown!!
Our hearts (& candy bucket!!) are full, and this was by far the sweetest and most fun Halloween yet!! Judson is at the cutest little age and talking non-stop, so he was really able to enjoy trick-or-treating and returning the favor of handing out candy (he was veryyy generous haha) this year, too!!

It was the happiest Halloween of all with our little rootin’ tootin’ pony-riding cowboy!! Yeehaw!!
This tiny heartbreaker cowboy sure did hit the jackpot with trick-or-treating this year and absolutely had the time of his life riding around in his little red wagon!!
And he LOVED handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters back at Uncle Edgar’s house, too!
Halloween nights were some of my most favorite memories as a child - carving pumpkins, dressing up and enjoying candy with loved ones -
and I’m thankful to get to make these memories with my own child now, too!!

Such a joy getting to welcome in November with a wonderful doctor’s appointment to check on baby’s heartbeat (we celebrated afterwards with a little Panera date!) and lots and lots of JOY ahead!!!
Our hearts were so full of gratitude getting to be back down at our happiest place with our firstborn “beach baby” for the sweetest little weekend getaway after getting to announce and celebrate our newest little miracle (aka beach baby #2 !!) on the way!!
God is just so good, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude for how He has blessed our growing family!!

Thankful beyond words for the sweetest little celebratory beach getaway with my boys this past weekend - full of fun beach time with our “beach baby” Judson and praising Jesus for the sweetest tiny miracle growing in my belly now, too!!
God has been so so good to us in this season and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude that Judson is going to be a big brother and we are going to have ourselves another “beach baby!!”
“I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.” // Psalm 9:1
Since I was a little girl, I have always been so drawn to the ocean - and just the wonder and mystery of God’s beautiful Creation. Just how BIG and MIGHTY He is, and how small we are - so humbling and so beautiful. We are His. And our children are HIS - we are truly just stewards for a blip in eternity. Glory to God!
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” // Psalm 139:13-14
It truly was the sweetest time out in God’s Creation and I was soaking it alllll up!!
Judson is at the sweetest little age and I just know he is going to be the BEST big brother and helper when his little sibling gets here in May!!
But for now, he just loves to kiss and rub mama’s belly and talks about “baby” all the time!! Be still my heart!! Truly can’t think of a more fitting way to start off the month of November - full of praise, wonder, awe, joy, and immense gratitude!!

While we are still soaking in the beautiful fall leaves,
it’s never too early for Christmas joy and magic in the Mabry household!!
We brought down the Christmas decor boxes from the attic this past weekend and my oh my,
it’s been bringing me such JOY to start getting our home merry and bright!!
And there is NOTHING sweeter than seeing the pure wonder and JOY on your baby’s face when they wake up to Christmas magic!!
In the words of Judson, “TADA,"
